Who are the Saxons?

If you think a Saxon is a Saxon, you'll be surprised. The Saxons are as varied as the landscape which stretches from Saxon Switzerland to the lowlands right around Leipzig. A tremendous variety of customs and culture stem from the area between Vogtland and Upper Lausitz, while Dresden, Leipzig and Chemnitz have a pulsating urban atmosphere.
