The Free State of Saxony is characterised by a particularly lively media landscape. Since 1990, a broad spectrum offering of print media, national and regional radio and television programming has emerged. In addition to the public service broadcasters, commercial and non-commercial broadcasters enrich the media landscape. The state government supports further development of the highly attractive media location Saxony both in terms of technology and industrial funding.
